Kickball

Me and Ruby wearing our handmade jerseys

Eilee and Kadi in their jerseys

My friends and I started our own kickball league last summer that we’d play about once a month. My roommates hosted a giant craft night where we busted out all our sewing machines, needles, and thread to all make our own jerseys to wear at the games. I started sewing up the letters with a yellow whipstitch because I liked how it kinda spiked against the fabric. I also prefer hand sewing because it feels more intentional. But then it was the day of the first game and ran out of time so ran it through the sewing machine. All my friends and their friends and people I didn’t know but ended up being great friends with showed up to the kickball games, some while they were passing through the city on tour, some visiting their friends, etc.
Currently in the process of knitting matching shorts to wear at games
