Dolls

This is a doll I made of myself

This project means the most to me because it is me. I’d made one doll before (it was a Smiski), but I really enjoyed making a doll of a real person. I bought a head lamp and spent forever adding the hair trying to remember the hairlines of my own dolls I had when I was a kid. I knit the clothes for the doll, too, which are actual clothes I own. I knit pretty much the same top with the same yarn last year as my first knitting project, which was just two rectangles of stockinette stitched together.
