About

Hello!
I'm a crafter & fiber artist in Chicago (from New Orleans) focusing in community & communication through what I make.
I started my fiber journey in 2018 as a crocheter, watching online tutorials and subsequently making many, many bikini tops and bralettes. For the next seven years I continued crocheting, making hats, earrings, sweaters, cardigans, and tops with self-drafted patterns.

the kinds of shrugs and boleros I was making in high school (featuring hand warmers I also crocheted)

I lost my way in fiber arts during college and work, but I picked it back up again when I faced my first full Chicago winter and needed to make my own scarf. I wanted the knit look, so I tunisian crocheted the chunkiest most warm scarf ever before actually learning how to knit.

<-- My first knit project haul in 2025 that I used to make my Step-by-Step Sweater (which is stuck on Sleeve Island currently) and a very basic top made of two stockinette panels sewn together (which has pilled beyond belief).

Immediately fell in love with knitting and now my yarn stash is very close to busting at all moments.
